Hex-Drive Centering Pin is a Fixing & Locating family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8.1–19.6 mm, lengths 20–62 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is TESA-HXP-16 at 62 mm. Besides turning, the family requires hex flat milling (AF 7–17). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is TESA-HXP-16: 62 mm long at ⌀19.6 mm, L/D 3.2. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to h8 tolerance; the smallest is TESA-HXP-04 (⌀8.1 mm) and the largest TESA-HXP-16 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes hex-drive, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
