The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is BURA-KAD-14 at 26 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning. Bores in this family run ⌀5–16 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is BURA-KAD-14: 26 mm long at ⌀20 mm, L/D 1.3. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to H7/f7 tolerance; the smallest is BURA-KAD-05 (⌀10 mm) and the largest BURA-KAD-16 (⌀20 mm). The family includes tapered, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
