Threaded Insulation Bushing is a Bushings family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀10–20 mm, lengths 11–21 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is BURB-TIS-12 at 21 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (M6, M8, M10, M12), hex flat milling (AF 13–17) and knurling. Bores in this family run ⌀3.2–10.2 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is BURB-TIS-12: 21 mm long at ⌀18 mm, L/D 1.2. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is BURB-TIS-05 (⌀10 mm) and the largest BURB-TIS-14 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, knurled, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
