Centering Pin is a Mold & Die Components family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 9 variants — diameters ⌀3–16 mm, lengths 23–77 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KALB-MRK-16 at 77 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The most slender variant is KALB-MRK-03: 23 mm long at ⌀3 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 7.7. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.
Variants are machined to m6 tolerance; the smallest is KALB-MRK-03 (⌀3 mm) and the largest KALB-MRK-16 (⌀16 mm). The family includes tapered, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
