Threaded Guide Pillar is a Mold & Die Components family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀4–20 mm, lengths 36–124 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KALB-KLV-20 at 124 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M4 to M12). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The most slender variant is KALB-KLV-04: 36 mm long at ⌀4 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 9.0. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.

Variants are machined to h6 tolerance; the smallest is KALB-KLV-04 (⌀4 mm) and the largest KALB-KLV-20 (⌀20 mm). The family includes threaded, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
