The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KALB-MAN-16 at 46 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning. Bores in this family run ⌀4–16 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is KALB-MAN-16: 46 mm long at ⌀20 mm, L/D 2.3. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to H7 tolerance; the smallest is KALB-MAN-04 (⌀8 mm) and the largest KALB-MAN-16 (⌀20 mm). The family includes tapered, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
