Hex Standoff M/M (Male-Male) is a Spacers & Standoffs family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 12 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–15 mm, lengths 22–84 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is ARAB-HMM-12 at 84 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (5 sizes from M3 to M8) and hex flat milling (AF 5.5–13). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The most slender variant is ARAB-HMM-06: 54 mm long at ⌀8.1 mm, a length-to-diameter ratio of 6.7. A part this slender needs tailstock support on a conventional lathe. On a sliding-head lathe the guide bushing holds the bar right next to the cutting edge, so the part is machined without a centre.

Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is ARAB-HMM-01 (⌀6.4 mm) and the largest ARAB-HMM-12 (⌀15 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
