Hex Standoff M/F (Male-Female) is a Spacers & Standoffs family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 12 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–15 mm, lengths 16–67 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀16 mm bar stock; its longest variant is ARAB-HMF-12 at 67 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (5 sizes from M3 to M8), hex flat milling (AF 5.5–13) and axial drilling (⌀2.5–6.8 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is ARAB-HMF-06: 47 mm long at ⌀8.1 mm, L/D 5.8. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is ARAB-HMF-01 (⌀6.4 mm) and the largest ARAB-HMF-12 (⌀15 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
