Hex Shaft Adapter is a Couplings & Shaft Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–19.6 mm, lengths 16–52 mm, standard material Brass (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KAPB-HXA-10 at 52 mm. Besides turning, the family requires thread turning (6 sizes from M3 to M10), hex flat milling (AF 5.5–17) and axial drilling (⌀4–6 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is KAPB-HXA-10: 52 mm long at ⌀19.6 mm, L/D 2.6. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.

Variants are machined to 6g tolerance; the smallest is KAPB-HXA-01 (⌀6.4 mm) and the largest KAPB-HXA-10 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes threaded, hex-drive, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
