Manufacturing Scope

Stepped Hub is a Couplings & Shaft Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 28–60 mm, standard material Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request an instant quote with the code you need.

The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KAPB-KDG-10 at 60 mm. Besides turning, the family requires axial drilling (⌀3–10 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is KAPB-KDG-01: 28 mm long at ⌀8 mm, L/D 3.5. This ratio is achievable on a conventional lathe as well; the sliding-head advantage in series work is that the part never leaves the machine, so the size does not drift from variant to variant.

Variants are machined to h7 tolerance; the smallest is KAPB-KDG-01 (⌀8 mm) and the largest KAPB-KDG-10 (⌀20 mm). The family includes bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
