Tapered Hub is a Couplings & Shaft Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 10 variants — diameters ⌀8–20 mm, lengths 22–50 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request an instant quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is KAPB-KGB-10 at 50 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning and axial drilling (⌀3–10 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is KAPB-KGB-01: 22 mm long at ⌀8 mm, L/D 2.8. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to h8 tolerance; the smallest is KAPB-KGB-01 (⌀8 mm) and the largest KAPB-KGB-10 (⌀20 mm). The family includes tapered, bored, multi-step variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
