The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is MEMB-FKB-16L at 39 mm. Besides turning, the family requires taper turning and knurling. Bores in this family run ⌀4–12 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is MEMB-FKB-16L: 39 mm long at ⌀20 mm, L/D 1.9. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
