The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is RULA-ABL-12L at 12 mm. The family is produced by turning alone. Bores in this family run ⌀6–17 mm. All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.

The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is RULA-ABL-12L: 12 mm long at ⌀14 mm, L/D 0.9. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.

Variants are machined to h7 tolerance; the smallest is RULA-ABL-06 (⌀8 mm) and the largest RULA-ABL-17 (⌀20 mm). The family includes bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
