Hex Distance Spacer is a Bearing & Seal Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–19.6 mm, lengths 8–35 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, stainless, brass or aluminium). The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is RULA-HDS-M8L at 35 mm. Besides turning, the family requires hex flat milling (AF 5.5–17) and axial drilling (⌀3–10 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is RULA-HDS-M5L: 25 mm long at ⌀9.2 mm, L/D 2.7. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
