Deviations (mm) are given for the nominal diameter according to the ISO 286-2 tables; thread tolerances (6g/6H) are to ISO 965. For custom sizes/tolerances, contact us with the part code.
Manufacturing Scope
Hex Distance Spacer is a Bearing & Seal Adapters family precision-turned on a Goodway SW-20, covering 11 variants — diameters ⌀6.4–19.6 mm, lengths 8–35 mm, standard material Stainless Steel (also steel, brass or aluminium). Every variant's part code, dimension and tolerance is listed below; request a quote with the code you need.
The family is machined from ⌀20 mm bar stock; its longest variant is RULA-HDS-M8L at 35 mm. Besides turning, the family requires hex flat milling (AF 5.5–17) and axial drilling (⌀3–10 mm). All of it is completed in a single setup, without the part leaving the machine.
The variant with the highest length-to-diameter ratio is RULA-HDS-M5L: 25 mm long at ⌀9.2 mm, L/D 2.7. A short, rigid body: what governs the result here is not deflection but diameter tolerance and surface finish.
Variants are machined to -, H7 tolerance classes; the smallest is RULA-HDS-M3 (⌀6.4 mm) and the largest RULA-HDS-M10 (⌀19.6 mm). The family includes hex-drive, bored variants. Custom sizes, tolerances or materials are produced to the part code on request.
